INDIA, Early northern trade coinage. Narhan-Chirand-Muzaffarpur culture. Circa 440-400 BC. 32 Mashakas (Silver, 20x23 mm, 6.95 g). Cut ingot with punchmarks: pellet-in-crescents back-to-back with ray and crescent flanking; all within incuse circle; numerous bankers’ marks around. Rev. Blank. Cf. ATEC 2204-10 (for type).
